Infolite - The total management solution for wind and solar plants

Market data

The Australian National Electricity Market (NEM) produces a lot of data and generators need to get fast, accurate and reliable data for their operations, trading and settlement functions and the market data needs to be integrated with your own plant SCADA data.

Our Infolite application comes complete with a working market database instance in an industry compliant SQL database so that your dispatch instructions are received as soon as possible and providing you with the data you need to trade, operate and settle in the market.

Market dispatch

When there is too much generation in the system or a local constraint is restricting output, the system operator AEMO will send a generation cap to a solar or wind farm that sets the maximum generation allowed for the next 5 min dispatch interval.

HARD software's Infolite application will continuously monitor its market database for any dispatch instructions, send alerts to any person in your organisation such as traders or operators when market events occur such as extreme electricity prices and keep your plant operating for maximum power output whilst ensuring that your generator is always compliant with the market operating rules.

Automated bidding

HARD software has developed a state of the art optimiser for our INFOLITE solution that specifically designed for renewable generation in the Australian electricity market.

The Infolite Auto Bidding module submits NEM market offers automatically in response to market conditions and uses both market data and SCADA data to determine accurate revenue estimation. The module then uses a comprehensive and fully customisable set of business rules and efficiently determines the optimal strategy and submits the offer to AEMO during each dispatch interval.

The automated bidding solution ensures that a wind or solar farm maximises their revenue in all market conditions.
